Empanadas de los Moros

Cook these beauties at home. Our Morish empanadas, freshly made, vacuum sealed & frozen. Keep frozen. Classic empanadas (4) filled with Turkish Haloumi & Spanish Olives, named for the Muslim Moors who lived in Spain for nearly 1000 years and influenced everything from cuisine to architecture. When ready to eat, defrost in packet for an hour or in the microwave for 3 mins. Pre-heat olive oil in a pot. 190 degrees Celsius is ideal. When hot, deep fry for 5 minutes until golden brown. Remove, pat dry with paper towel, and serve with sauce. We recommend you cut up some tomato, onion, cilantro and use it as a topping for each or just whip out an avocado!
