Cool, sweet, sour, this frappe is made with lots of ice, fresh lime pulp, and panela. Panela is unrefined whole cane sugar, common to Latin America. Panela combines the flavour of brown sugar and molasses, but the cooking process gives it a slightly smokey, caramel and earthy taste. Mixed with lime, this Panela drink is not only refreshing but also healthy, with the vitamin C of the lime and the trace minerals and vitamins in the panela. It's a winner!
